Old Swartland Cinsault bush vines and Adi Badenhorst's expert touch puncture the notion that Cinsault is not a serious, age-worthy wine.

Grapes from a vineyard planted in 1954 on Paardeberg decomposed granite are hand-picked, whole-cluster fermented, and aged for 12 months in large old-oak barrels at Kalmoesfontein to offer up an energetic medium-bodied wine of rose petals, fynbos, and elegance.

Lovely with food. Especially so if that food is flame-grilled or pasta.
