Kalmoesfontein Red Blend '22

A flagship estate red, but with Adi's inimitable rustic charm. A typical backbone of Shiraz, Grenache, Tinta Barocca, Cinsault and some friends are spontaneously co-fermented to deliver an evolving snapshot of this Swartland site. With old-vine structure and big intensity you can enjoy now or hold on to it for another 8-10 years.  

Serious, but lighthearted, intricate without trying too hard. The nose pulls you in with berries, herbs, fynbos and a hint of peppery, meaty spice, before the palate brings fresh fruit acidity, and beautifully balanced tannins.
